Ed joined Kunz & Germick in 2002 and has focused his practice on workers’ compensation, general litigation, employment law, and subrogation litigation in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Prior to attending law school, Ed worked in a number of blue-collar and white-collar jobs, from a neighbor’s farm, several factories and warehouses, a temporary labor service, and a community service agency. He proudly served in the 1/109 Field Artillery of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard from 1988-2000, first in the Special Weapons section (nuclear field artillery), and then as a nuclear, biological and chemical warfare specialist. Those experiences allow Ed to better analyze questionable injuries and negotiate settlements through having a first-hand understanding of various workplace cultures, job duties, and issues faced by different types of employees.
